Power generator NTPC Ltd and IIT Madras have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for research and development in areas such as bulk ash utilisation, carbon capture, waste to energy, gypsum building and grid stability.
As per the MoU, joint research projects will be taken up by both the organisations for development of new technologies, process and product for optimisation and efficiency improvements.
NTPC is India’s largest generator of power with an installed generation capacity of 47,000 Megawatt including 6,900 Mw contributed by its Joint Ventures and subsidiaries. Todd Bertuzzi Jersey
